Healthy Diets for Multiple Sclerosis and other Illnesses
"Eating Well Has Gone Beyond All Expectations"
The Benefits
- More energy: It was great to finally learn what it was like not to run on empty.
- Weight Loss: Achieved by not cutting down on quantity eaten. I was still active, so exercise did help but I believe diet played the major part in my weight loss.
- Sleeping Better: It was great to finally wake in the morning feeling refreshed and energised.
- More Alert: I am now able to concentrate on things longer and not tire.
"It feels like I am beating those negatives; doing the best I can to maximise excellent health."
MOST importantly (for me), diagnosed with a Heart Murmur and Multiple Sclerosis, I have not had another relapse! It feels like I am beating those negatives; doing the best I can to maximise excellent health.
Finally, a huge thankyou to Dr. Roy Swank for his pioneering work and Professor George Jelinek for his excellent book.

Vit D
Vit D, why is it taking so long our Vit D levels to be checked by our Doctors? Back in 1974 Goldberg created / discovered the benefits of Vit D. When I next meet my Neurologist, fantastic that he is, I will be asking to have my Vit D levels checked.
The "Swank Diet"
Dr. Roy L Swank created the 'Swank Diet' in 1946. It was then, and continues to be, modified by Professor George Jelinek, MD, who has also been diagnosed with MS. Here is a radio interview with Dr. Roy Swank, it gave me the confidence to share my Swank diet experiences with others.
The Swank Diet has the potential to help everyone, by positive eating and extending that 'five a day rule'. Even my partner, Euan, who has nothing wrong, has notice improvement since following it.
