Sausages / Stuffing
Ingredients
- Either 350g of Quorn or Two Chicken Brests
- 2 Egg Whites
- 1 teaspoon of Sage
- 1 teaspoon of Thyme
- 1 teaspoon of Garlic Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of Rosemary
- 1 tablespoon of Italian Herbs
- 1 Oxo Chicken Stock Cube
- 1/2 Lage Onion or 1 Small
- 2 Apples cored and peeled
- 1 fresh Garlic Clove
- 1 teaspoon of fresh ginger
- 250g of Bread Crumbs (made from fresh bread - NOT Toasted)

Ingredients
- 1 Box of 'New Covent Garden Food Co' Plum Tomato & Basil Soup
- 250g of Pasta Pieces
Directions:
Boil pasta and cook soup in two separately. Drain the pasta, then add pasta to the pre-heated soup. Quorn heated in the oven and / or other veg may also be added. Enjoy! Other soups may used instead, just check the ingredients first.
Chicken / Turkey or Quorn Satay
Ingredients
- 500g Chicken (Turkey of Quorn) cut into pieces with all skin, fat and dark bits removed
- 1 Onion
- 1 large Garlic Clove
- 1cm (0.5 inch) Fresh Ginger
- 0..5 Teaspoon of barts Lemon Grass in Sunflour Oil
- 1 Tablespoon of Brown Sugar
- 0.5 Teaspoon of Salt
- 1 Teaspoon of Turmeric
- 1 Teaspoon of Ground Cumin
- 6 Teaspoon of Ground Coriander>
- 100ml of Alpro Soya Cream
- 100ml of Alpro Soya Milk
Directions:
Lemon's Jungle Curry
Ingredients
- 1.25 Water
- 4 Oxo Chicken Stock Cubes
- 1.5 Teaspoons of Barts Lemon Grass in Sunflour Oil
- 2 Tablespoons of finely grated fresh Ginger
- 3 Kaffir Lime Leaves (or 1 Tablespoon of Lemon Juice)
- 1 Red Chilli (seeds removed and finely diced)
- 1 Teaspoons of finely diced Coriander
- 1 Small Onion (finely diced)
- 2 Large Cloves of Garlic
- 6 Tablespoons of Fish Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon of Barts Tamarind Pulp
- 1.5 Teaspoons of Sugar
Humous
Ingredients
- 450g Chick Peas
- 200g Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 140g Tahini
- 100g Water
- 35g Lemon Juice
- 10g Salt
- 10g Pepper
Directions:
In a blender mix together all ingredients and taste. You can replace lemon juice with White Wine Vinegar. Chick peas quantity are taken from a can, I have not yet perfected boiling chick peas first and achieving the same result. All advise is most welcome.
The Best Dressing +++
Ingredients
- 1/2 Medium Red Onion
- 1 Large Garlic Clove
- 2cm of Fresh Ginger
- 2 Tablespoons of White Wine Vinegar
- 2 Tablespoons Heinz Tomato Sauce
- 2 Tablespoons of Water
- 120ml of Extra Virgin Olive Oiil
- 4 Tablespoons of Light Soy Sauce
Directions:
In a blender mix together all ingredients together and enjoy. It goes well with salads or crumbed / crumbed marinated chicken meals.
Crumbed Marinated Chicken
Ingredients
- 250g Chicken breasts
- 3 Garlic Cloves
- 2cm of Fresh Ginger
- 2 Tablespoons of Whisky
- 2 Tablespoons of Light Soy Sauce
- 1 Cup of Bread Crumbs - recommend from home made bread
- 1/2 red Chilli (seeds removed)
- 1/2 teaspoon of Barts Lemon Grass - in Sun flour Oil

Jean’s Baked Apples
Ingredients
- 10 Small Dessert Apples (normal apples should work)
- 1/2 Cup Sultanas or Chopped Dates
- 1 or 2 Tablespoons of Golden Syrup or Honey
- Brown Sugar (to taste)
- 1 Tablespoon Water
- 1 Lemon Juice and Zest
Directions:
Jean made this recipe with about 10 small dessert apples, but I expect you could also do this with normal sized cooking apples:
1. Core and peel apples
2. Stuff with sultanas or chopped dates
3. Melt down in a pan:
Ray's Salmon Surprise
Ingredients - Marinade
- 2 Tablespoons Dark Soy Sauce
- 1Tablespoon Honey
- 1/2 Teaspoon of dried Chillies
Directions:
Marinade 2 salmon steaks for 1 hour, then wrap loosely in foil (spoon over some of the marinade before wrapping!). Bake in the oven for half an hour at 150 deg C.

Mushroom Curry Pasta Sauce
Ingredients
- Onion / Mushrooms / Baby Corn / Broccoli / Asparagus / Carrots / Beans / Red Pepper etc
- 1 Cups of Soya Milk
- 1 Cups of Soya Cream
- An additional 12 Mushrooms
- 2 Garlic Cloves
- 3 Teaspoon of Medium Spiced Curry Powder
- Cooked Chicken / Prawns (Either / Or Optional)
- Tomatoes (Optional)
- Salt and Pepper to taste
